Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a Director - Business Unit in Auburn Hills, MI to define business development strategy and manage P&L for the assigned BU. You will direct the BU organization, set objectives and budgets, and monitor progress against goals.

You will observe market trends, steer product portfolio development, and ensure strong marketing concepts and regional market penetration. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; master's preferred.
• 10+ years in automotive industry experience.
• Experience leading in a global, matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Direct the BU organization and set business objectives, budgets, and success criteria.
• Analyze market trends and guide product portfolio development.
• Implement marketing concepts and monitor market penetration regionally and by product.
