Job summary

Pew Research Center is seeking a Research Assistant to support its global attitudes research agenda. The role involves number checking, creating charts, assisting with presentations, and helping develop questionnaires for international polling.

Ideal candidates will have a BA in social sciences and strong quantitative, data-visualization, and collaboration skills. Hybrid work schedule with a DC office presence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in political science, economics, international affairs, statistics, or similar field.
• Experience with data analysis and survey research preferred.
• Strong spreadsheet and data visualization abilities.
• Attention to accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Number checking, fact-checking, and proofreading.
• Create charts and tables for publication.
• Assist in PowerPoint presentations.
• Produce topline statistics and demographic cross-tabs.
• Assist in locating international polling data for questionnaires.
