Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz, a global leader in Air Traffic Control systems, seeks a Configuration Management Specialist in Columbia, MD. This role involves maintaining the integrity and governance of system artifacts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proper version control and repository management to support reliable operations.

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree, experience with CMS tools, and be proficient in Atlassian products. The compensation ranges between $80K and $130K, complemented by various benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of CMS terms, tools, and methodologies.
• Experience with Change Control Boards and formal change control processes.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Understanding of systems engineering and project development life cycle.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain artifact repositories.
• Ensure proper storage, versioning, tagging, and life cycle management.
• Develop and coordinate configuration management processes.
• Support compliance with organizational CM policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
