KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting partners with a global public life sciences company to identify an Assistant Corporate Controller. You will oversee the corporate accounting function, manage the global close, consolidations, and multi-entity/ multi-currency reporting, and ensure US GAAP compliance and SOX controls.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership in accounting/finance, CPA, and experience in public accounting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years accounting/finance leadership in a public company or public accounting
• CPA required; public accounting experience required

Responsabilités

• Oversee global monthly close, consolidations, GL accounting, and shared services
• Support financial reporting for global business units
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, policies, and SEC requirements
• Provide financial oversight to BU accounting teams
• Interact with external auditors on significant judgments
• Partner with finance, tax, treasury, legal, IT, and business teams on cross-functional initiatives
• M&A diligence and integration support
• Prepare materials for Audit Committee presentations
• Maintain internal controls and policies
