Job summary

iCapital seeks a Vice President to join the International Asset Manager Solutions team in New York. The role focuses on growing and managing GP and Asset Manager relationships, supporting business development and relationship management for US-based fund managers, and expanding iCapital’s international offerings.

The position requires 8-10+ years in private markets, strong client management, and the ability to lead strategic initiatives in a fast-growing firm.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of relevant work experience in private markets and private funds.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in fund structuring, fund platforms, and fund selection.
• Adequate exposure to Private Equity and/or other Private Markets asset classes, and an understanding of the distribution model is highly preferred.
• Experience pitching and winning client business, as well as able client management skills.
• Able to organize and structure a multi-faceted workload with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with demonstrated capabilities to build trust, and seek to align stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly collaborative, and able to think strategically about business opportunities and client management.

Responsibilities

• Lead as a key contributor to the Asset Manager Solutions team in building and expanding iCapital’s global business with a focus on US-based fund managers.
• Manage and support a robust and sustainable pipeline of prospective clients.
• Foster strong relationships with existing clients, bringing a solutions-oriented mindset and client-first approach.
• Take ownership for contributions to strategic projects and work alongside colleagues in developing and refining the iCapital international offering.
• Create materials to educate clients on iCapital’s solutions and capabilities.
• Provide constant feedback from the field on competitive landscape, investors’ appetite, trends and share with colleagues globally.
• Build strong, collaborative internal relationships within iCapital and work closely with other teams across regions to achieve the best client outcomes.
