Job summary

iCapital seeks an Assistant Vice President to join the Asset Manager Solutions International team in New York. You will aid in developing and executing iCapital’s global strategy, while supporting onboarding, structuring, and distribution of private markets funds on the platform, working closely with senior coverage professionals.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in asset management, fund formation, consulting, or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree or professional qualifications is a plus.
• Strong interest in international activities, alternative investments and private markets.
• Understanding of fund structures and investment vehicles is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong execution mindset.
• Comfortable interacting with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Work experience outside the US is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cover and service private equity, private credit, and alternative asset managers with global capital raising strategies.
• Assist with structuring and launch of investment products for distribution through iCapital’s platform.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Product, Operations, and Platform to onboard and launch funds for global distributors.
• Prepare presentations, client meeting materials, internal memos, and notes.
• Organize and lead calls with global clients and stakeholders.
• Manage execution timelines, deliverables, and internal approvals.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis on private markets products and trends.
• Support business acquisition and ongoing client relationship management.
