Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee global AR operations, support month-end close, billing, SOX controls, audits, and AR transformation across entities and geographies.

The role partners with cross-functional teams and shared services, serving as a senior AR advisor and process owner while driving improvements and automation within the AR function. Based in San Diego with hybrid work (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience with journal entry review, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Deep knowledge of accounts receivable and order-to-cash in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate across functions to resolve complex accounting issues and achieve business objectives.
• Review and approve month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and review month-end and quarter-end AR flux analysis and commentary.
• Oversee billing and adjustment activity including invoices, credit memos, and debit memos.
• Own AR-related SOX controls, including execution, Certification, and audit support.
• Coordinate external audit requests, deliverables, and walkthroughs for AR.
