Job summary

Tremco CPG in North America seeks an experienced Director to lead Accounts Payable and Cash Application, acting as SME to the global segment and Treasury. You will manage a 20+ person team across the Global Service Center and onshore staff, driving accurate processing and strong controls.

You will own internal controls, partner with banks, and guide automation initiatives such as HighRadius and ReadSoft, while fostering a service-first culture and collaborating with RPM's finance organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, cash management, or general accounting operations, including leadership of global/shared service teams.
• Hands-on SAP and ReadSoft experience are required.
• Experience liaising with corporate treasury, banking partners, and card program providers is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills for data analysis are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly convey information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; able to work across a global, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global AP and cash application team of 20+ members across the GSC and onshore sites.
• Champion AP and cash application best practices to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and strong controls.
• Manage year-end 1099 reporting for contractors.
• Support ReadSoft - Tungsten AP Automation initiatives and improvements.
• Develop processes to resolve exceptions and deviations from standard workflows.
• Oversee HighRadius implementation for cash application, collaborating with IT and process owners to drive automation.
• Serve as primary liaison with RPM Treasury on cash management, banking, and transformation projects.
• Oversee credit card program administration, spend analysis, and payment terms.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external partners and support day-to-day disbursements and receipts.
• Support month-end close activities for AP and cash applications.
• Contribute to special projects including indirect spend and working capital improvements.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls over AP and cash application; address control gaps and remediation.
• Coordinate with internal audit and external auditors as needed.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues timely.
