DoorDash is seeking a Senior Counsel in Competition & Litigation to join our global Legal team and advise product and business units across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo. Expect fast, practical antitrust counsel to support M&A, regulatory inquiries, and international compliance efforts.

You will collaborate with Corporate Development and sales teams, manage investigations, and help shape an international competition program while working across multiple jurisdictions and brands.

Qualificações

• You have a J.D. and are qualified to practice law (bar admission required).
• 7–9+ years of experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department with a generalist antitrust grounding spanning M&A, litigation, and regulatory investigations.
• Experience advising on competition issues in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments, including regulatory filings and clearance strategy.
• Experience handling antitrust/regulatory inquiries or investigations, ideally engaging with regulators such as the European Commission, UK CMA, DOJ, or FTC.
• Comfort operating as a generalist across a broad portfolio, able to get up to speed quickly and give practical business-minded advice.
• Excellent product counselor: translate complex antitrust concepts into clear, fast guidance for product/business teams.
• Ability to navigate multiple jurisdictions and three brand portfolios (DoorDash, Wolt, Deliveroo).
• Strong organizational skills to juggle concurrent workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
• Outstanding written and spoken communication; when to elevate or move forward independently.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a trusted antitrust advisor to product, business, and corporate development teams, delivering fast, practical counsel that lets the business move with velocity while properly managing risk.
• Advise on competition/antitrust dimensions of M&A transactions, strategic investments, and commercial partnerships, partnering with Corporate Development and sales teams.
• Manage antitrust/competition regulatory investigations and inquiries globally.
• Help build out DoorDash’s international competition compliance program, training, policies, and processes across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
• Support competition-related litigation matters as needed, including document collection/review, witness preparation, and responses to subpoenas.
• Partner with policy and government relations teams to track legal/regulatory developments impacting the business.
