Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate to partner with our Legal group to shape long‑term investment strategies and own planning, forecasting, and reporting. You will translate spend drivers—from outside counsel to headcount and legal tech—into accurate forecasts and proactive recommendations.

Build trusted relationships and deliver early visibility into risk and opportunity. You will report to the Director of Global G&A Finance and help drive the consolidated forecast for the G&A team,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FP&A or related finance role owning budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis with a high bar for accuracy.
• Trusted business partner and clear communicator who translates analysis into concise summaries for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems and recommend actions, not just report results.
• Advanced financial modeling in Excel/Sheets and experience with planning tools or data tools (e.g., SQL) to automate reporting.
• Experience using AI tools to automate recurring reports or build reusable workflows.

Responsibilities

• Shape long-term investment decisions for the Legal organization with leaders across Litigation, Legal Operations, Corporate Legal, and Product Legal.
• Own monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and accrual support for legal spend, headcount, outside counsel, litigation, and vendors.
• Lead quarterly, annual, and long-range planning for the Legal organization with clear recommendations and tradeoffs.
• Help own the consolidated forecast for the broader G&A Finance team and improve models, planning systems, and AI workflows to scale.
• Partner with leaders to consolidate outside counsel, in-house mix, and investments, turning spend insights into actionable plans.
