Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Program Director for Corporate Real Estate Planning and Development, based at Washington Dulles Airport on a 100% onsite schedule. You will lead a team, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive scope, design, and construction to meet business objectives within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science plus relevant experience.
• 8+ years of Planning, Design and Construction experience.
• 5+ years of experience in large program management.
• Leadership/executive experience on airport terminal development projects of $1B+.
• Experience overseeing large-scale, multi-billion-dollar capital programs or portfolios.
• Strong experience partnering and negotiating with governing authorities and stakeholders.
• Experience managing a team of direct reports.
• Executive presentation skills, Project Management, Negotiation, Financial Forecasting, Construction Project Controls and Accounting, Financial Analysis.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 100% onsite at Washington (Dulles) Airport.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic and comprehensive Program Management Plan.
• Analyze program risks to prioritize projects.
• Develop implementation strategy to minimize disruption and support growth; examples include master planning and renovations.
• Establish relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
• Develop alternatives that meet objectives and manage program budget.
• Integrate program elements into long-term facility capital and asset plans.
• Ensure governance, artifacts, and guidelines for PMLC (UA and CRE).
• Utilize CRE tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Oracle; ensure projects meet metrics and transparent reporting.
