Job summary

Snowflake is seeking an Engineering Director to recruit, mentor, and scale a global engineering organization. Define the long-term technical vision for the AI Solutions team and align with Snowflake's evolving product strategy.

You will lead the design and development of AI/ML solutions using Snowflake Cortex and Snowflake ML, owning end-to-end deployments from concept to production. Engage with Fortune 100 customers and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field is required
• Strong 12+ years in software engineering with 4+ years as Engineering Director
• Hands-on AI/ML experience with LLMs, NLP, generative AI
• Proven ability to deliver enterprise-grade software to large customers
• Experience scaling engineering organizations across geographies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and scale a global engineering organization
• Define the long-term technical vision and structure for the AI Solutions team
• Lead design and development of AI/ML solutions using Snowflake Cortex and Snowflake ML
• Own end-to-end implementation of AI Solutions from concept to production
• Engage with Fortune 100 customers and GTM teams to drive business impact
• Drive strategic planning, headcount, budgets, and roadmaps with cross-functional partners
• Travel up to 25% to engage with customers and global teams
