Job summary

Moody's Investors Service is seeking a senior second line risk leader to guide ORM for AI, DeFi, and the digital economy. You will set risk appetite, challenge ORM implementations, and represent risk at governance forums while partnering with business and technology teams.

Lead cross-functional initiatives, monitor evolving risks, and drive alignment with regulatory expectations across Moody's global framework. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading second line risk in digital economy, AI/ML, and blockchain.
• Ability to challenge and influence across business and tech.
• Experience with risk appetite and ORM frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior second line risk leader for AI, blockchain, DeFi, and digital economy.
• Develop and communicate risk appetite aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Provide independent review and credible challenge of ORM framework implementations.
• Represent second line at governance forums and communicate risk profile changes.
• Challenge first line RCSAs for quality and ORM adherence; support remediation.
• Review operational risk events and ensure proper escalation and root cause analysis.
• Monitor emerging risks and provide timely reporting of changes.
• Offer second line challenge to transformation initiatives from design to go-live.
• Advise business and technology stakeholders across Digital Economy, Technology, and InfoSec.
• Ensure adherence to policies and MR ORM framework; oversee use of GRC tools.
