United States Digital Space LLC is seeking Government & International Affairs interns in Washington, DC for a structured 10-week summer experience. Interns work with industry professionals on projects impacting communities worldwide, with professional development and mentorship components.

The program emphasizes research, communications, Congressional relations, and think-tank interactions, culminating in end-of-program presentations and future opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university with a degree focus in Foreign Affairs, Economics, Regional Studies, International Business, or related field.
• Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• English required; strong written and spoken communication.
• Ability to conduct research and compile reports; strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to commute to Washington DC for meetings/seminars.
• International travel experience is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access; LexisNexis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate, business and project teams with research, communications and congressional relations.
• Assist with data and document management and non-technical tasks as needed.
• Coordinate meetings, take notes, and provide briefing materials for supervisors and country managers.
• Draft and prepare briefings for company executive leadership on international development.
• Contribute to issues management and executive communications.
