Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Global Engine Manager – Aerospace to lead the end-to-end onboarding of aerospace engine programs, act as global SME, and drive operational excellence across regions in a hybrid role.

You will partner with Commercial, Operations and Shared Services to standardize processes, oversee engine shipments by air/ground/charter, and support RFQs while driving KPIs and continuous improvement across the globe.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in aerospace or high-value logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace engine handling, AOG operations, airfreight and charter solutions.
• Experience with global operations and multi-region coordination.
• Proven track record in process standardization and operational governance.
• Strong commercial acumen (pricing, quoting, customer solutions).
• Experience working with TMS platforms (CargoWise) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding of new aerospace engine programs.
• Serve as the global SME for engine logistics across regions.
• Provide oversight of global engine operations across all regions and stations.
• Support global quoting operations with standardized pricing, cost modeling and margins.
• Partner with Commercial teams to develop competitive solutions; support RFQs.
• Develop and implement global SOPs and governance; standardize processes.
• Monitor engine shipments across air, ground, and charter; ensure timelines and SLAs.
• Establish KPIs and drive reporting, dashboards and governance routines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure execution discipline.
