Job summary

RISD, a leading art and design school in Providence, RI, seeks an Associate Director of International Admissions to lead RISD’s global recruitment and admission efforts. You will develop a data-informed strategy, oversee international application review, and represent RISD worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in admissions, enrollment management, international education, or a related field.
• A valid passport and driver’s license, and the ability to meet institutional travel requirements, are required.
• Must meet federal DSO eligibility requirements, including being a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident and a regularly employed member of the school administration whose office is located at the school.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and annually assess multiyear international recruitment plans aligned with enrollment goals.
• Identify priority markets using trends, diversity, affordability, and institutional fit.
• Lead international application review and coordinate policy application; train staff in equitable practices.
