Job summary

The New School is seeking an Admissions Counselor to recruit and enroll students across all colleges, including Parsons and Lang. The role involves extensive travel, both domestically and internationally, and collaboration with faculty to coordinate application reviews and yield efforts.

You will manage outreach to prospective students and families via phone, email, and social media, and support on-campus events and orientation with a holistic admissions approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in higher education admissions or recruitment preferred.
• Travel across the U.S. and internationally is expected (visa/passport).

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & travel across the U.S. and internationally.
• Evaluate applications and credentials for holistic review.
• Coordinate with faculty across departments for reviews and yield efforts.
• Assist in planning large on-campus recruitment events and orientation.
