Job summary

James and James Fulfilment is seeking a Finance Assistant / Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Global Finance Team. You’ll manage day-to-day accounts payable, procurement, and multi-currency payments across the US and Canada, while supporting credit control for our clients.

We value detail-oriented, collaborative professionals who can maintain supplier data accuracy and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in Accounts Payable or similar role.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel.
• NetSuite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, code, and match supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Process multi-currency supplier payments and reimbursements.
• Maintain supplier accounts, master data, and cost centers.
• Support credit control for US/Canada entities and intercompany balances.
• Reconcile AP sub-ledgers and prepare AP ageing and cash forecasts.
• Assist month-end/year-end close and internal audits.
