Job summary

Quanta US is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Charlotte, NC to support day-to-day financial operations, including AP, vendor management, payroll, expenses, and reporting. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in ERP systems and regulatory compliance.

You will manage reconciliations, payroll entries, and benefit administration while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance or accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting and financial controlling experience.
• Experience in a multinational company.
• ERP/accounting systems experience; Sage 100 preferred.
• Understanding of U.S. accounting principles (AP, payroll, expense).
• Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems.
• Familiarity with ACH, wire transfers, banking reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office/Google Workspace.
• Strong records management and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organization; problem-solving.
• Strong communication and teamwork; adaptable; confidential.

Responsibilities

• Enter/verify vendor invoices in ERP; ensure amounts, terms, approvals.
• Match invoices to POs/docs; resolve discrepancies.
• Process weekly/monthly payments incl. ACH and wire transfers.
• Maintain vendor records: contact info, W-9s, banking details.
• Investigate duplicate/short payments; resolve issues.
• Respond to vendor inquiries; ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain organized financial records and audit trail.
• Monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, AP.
• Monitor daily banking activity and record transactions.
• Prepare reconciliation reports for audits and financial reporting.
• Assist with GL entries and accruals; maintain supporting docs.
• Payroll & Timekeeping: verify time records; payroll entries; new hires; changes; resolve misses.
• Employee expenses: review reports; verify receipts; code expenses; maintain records.
• Benefits administration: health, 401(k), PTO; enrollments; changes; inquiries.
• Reporting: assist monthly/quarterly reporting; monitor timelines; drive process improvements.
