Job summary

The Bachrach Group (TBG) in Florida seeks an experienced Accounting Leader to oversee international payroll accounting, journal entry review, and intercompany activities. You will manage a team of up to seven professionals, drive accuracy of the general ledger, and ensure timely financial close.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting, 7+ years of experience, and CPA/masters are preferred. Strong GAAP knowledge and proficiency with Workday and Excel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Master's degree in Accounting or related field and/or CPA is preferred.
• At least seven years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting cycles, intercompany activity, and P&L reporting.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close and financial audits.
• Proficiency in Workday Financials and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and approve complex journal entries for accurate GL reporting.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations including international intercompany accounts and foreign currency transactions.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to five accounting professionals.
• Manage reconciliation of payroll taxes, benefits, and other payroll-related liabilities.
• Coordinate and support monthly and annual financial close processes.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
• Collaborate with payroll operations, compliance, and benefits teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate audit requests and provide documentation to auditors.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
