Job summary

MAT Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead the global accounting function and manage month-end closings. Based in Long Grove, IL, you will supervise a team of staff accountants and coordinate with controllers across MAT units to ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will maintain the Global SAP Chart of Accounts, oversee fixed assets, intercompany, and the annual close process, while supporting audits and process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
• CPA certification or active CPA preferred.
• Minimum 6–8 years of Finance/Accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3 staff accountants.
• Coordinate monthly close with MAT entities and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain SAP Chart of Accounts and master data; oversee fixed assets.
• Assist with year-end audits and internal control processes.
• Manage intercompany accounting and intercompany shared costs.
• Develop and monitor budgets and assist with cost center analyses.
