Job summary

Zipline, located in South San Francisco, seeks an Accounting Intern for a full-time, in-person internship from January to April 2027. You’ll assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, while learning Zipline’s global finance systems and supporting cross-functional teams.

This is an in-house role at a fast-growth tech company focused on autonomous logistics. You should be a second-year accounting student, detail-oriented, and comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the second year of undergraduate studies in Accounting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data

Responsibilities

• Assist core accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and record-keeping
• Support monthly and quarterly close by compiling data and preparing schedules
• Learn Zipline’s finance systems and assist with data entry, analysis, and data cleanup
• Collaborate with country operations and manufacturing teams on fixed asset accounting activities
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Operations to track transactions and improve processes
• Gain exposure to Zipline’s international accounting operations and global footprint
