Job summary

Zipline, the world’s largest autonomous drone logistics company, seeks a Strategic Finance Intern at its South San Francisco headquarters. You’ll work with Operations, Supply Chain, and Data teams to build analyses, streamline reporting, and influence budgeting and forecasting in a fast-paced hardware-enabled business.

Qualifications

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Experience with SQL and large datasets (Snowflake preferred).
Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and financial modeling.
Clear communication with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

Support Operations Finance with metric development, reporting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Query and analyze large operational datasets using SQL.
Build repeatable dashboards and tools in Excel, Google Sheets, and BI platforms.
Partner with operations leaders to understand drivers of cost and efficiency.
Assist in month-end processes, variance analysis, and KPI reviews.
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives with Supply Chain, Product, and Data teams.
Identify gaps and implement simple automation or workflow improvements.
