Job summary

Zipline is seeking an Accounting Intern to join our Finance & Accounting team in South San Francisco. This hands‑on internship introduces the building blocks of corporate accounting within a fast‑paced, mission‑driven tech company.

You will support month‑end close, assist with journal entries and reconciliations, and gain exposure to Zipline’s global operations and systems. Full‑time in‑person role with relocation/housing considerations possible.

Qualifications

• Completed the second year of undergraduate studies in Accounting.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and comfortable with spreadsheets.
• Able to work with numbers and apply classroom knowledge to real work.
• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist core accounting processes including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support month‑end close by compiling data, running reports and schedules.
• Learn Zipline’s finance systems and assist with data entry and cleanup.
• Collaborate with country operations and manufacturing on asset accounting.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement and Operations to track transactions.
