Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Accounting Program Manager to join the FBI team, working with global financial systems, accounting operations, tax, and treasury to deliver scalable, secure solutions. This leader partners with business finance and technical teams to drive high-impact programs in a fast-paced, global environment.

The candidate should have 5+ years in finance, a Bachelor's in accounting, and proven abilities in process design, UAT, and automation.

Qualifications

5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Knowledge of internal control framework (COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
5+ years identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance tools and processes

Responsibilities

Own and manage lifecycle activities from planning to stakeholder engagement for multiple projects
Automate processes by designing tools to improve financial statement accuracy
Support expansion by ensuring controlled processes for correct financial statements
Consult with diverse stakeholder teams across Amazon
Make empowered decisions to drive project direction
Collaborate with Amazonians of diverse backgrounds
