Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Accounting Program Manager to join the FBI team and drive financial system initiatives for Amazon MGM Studios. The role collaborates with global finance, accounting operations, tax, and treasury to deliver scalable solutions, emphasizing strong communication and problem-solving.

The candidate will own lifecycle activities, automate processes, and support controlled expansion of Amazon’s financial statements across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of internal control framework (COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency.
• Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients.
• Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage lifecycle activities from planning to stakeholder engagement for multiple projects.
• Automate financial statement processes and design processes and tools.
• Support expansion by ensuring implementation of controlled processes for financial statements.
• Consult with multiple stakeholder teams across Amazon.
• Make empowered, impactful decisions to drive project completion.
• Collaborate with Amazonians of diverse backgrounds.
