Quanex Building Products Corp. in New Haven, CT is seeking a Global Senior Product Manager to lead the Access Solutions portfolio across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

You will own the product vision, strategy, lifecycle management, and drive profitable growth while aligning with building codes and sustainability requirements. This role requires cross‑functional leadership, VOC programs, and data‑driven decision making to develop multi‑year roadmaps and leading global product launches with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field required
• MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of product management experience in building/access solutions or safety technologies
• Proven success launching and scaling global product portfolios
• Demonstrated ownership of P&L and portfolio profitability
• Strong exposure to operations, supply chain, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with Agile product management, PLM, and BI/CRM tools (Jira, Aha!, Salesforce, Power BI)
• Strong financial literacy and business case development
• Exceptional strategic thinking and cross-cultural leadership
• Ability to travel up to 40% globally

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a compelling global product strategy and roadmap
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and VOC programs
• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver NPD and lifecycle management
• Develop multi‑year roadmaps and global pricing/positioning
• Coordinate with regional marketing, sales, and operations for launches
• Ensure compliance with fire safety, accessibility, and ESG standards
• Partner with engineering and operations to achieve on‑time, on‑budget delivery
• Foster a data‑driven culture using BI and PLM tools
• Track KPIs: revenue, margin, adoption, customer satisfaction
• Drive continuous improvement across product, process, and ops
