Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Business Manager in New York to lead the global acceptance strategy. You will guide strategic initiatives, partner with Sales, Product, Pricing and Risk, and lead a team of analysts to deliver data-driven insights that shape the business direction.

You will present recommendations to senior leaders, manage multiple workstreams, and drive collaboration across IT, Operations, Finance, and business partners while mentoring analysts for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years quantitative analysis experience; 3+ years qualitative analysis experience; 1+ year people management; 1+ year project management.
• Preferred: Master’s in Business or quantitative field; 5+ years quantitative analysis; 5+ years qualitative analysis; 2+ years people management; 2+ years product development; 2+ years financial modeling; 2+ years economic forecasting; 2+ years project management.

Responsibilities

• Shape long- and short-term global acceptance strategies.
• Lead a team of 3–5 analysts and structure their workstreams.
• Drive quantitative and qualitative analysis for deal opportunities and growth initiatives.
• Conduct competitive research and market analyses to surface actionable insights.
• Deliver executive narratives, strategic briefings, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into structured recommendations.
