Job summary

Capital District Transportation Authority is seeking drivers for a full-time position. Candidates will start with paid training at $27.17 per hour and enjoy benefits from day one. After eight weeks, the position transitions to a top rate of $31.96 per hour with additional perks including medical coverage and a pension plan.

Applicants must possess a NYS Class D license, a CDL B Permit with endorsements, and a strong customer service mindset. Flexibility for non-traditional schedules is also essential.

Qualifications

• Must have three years of driving experience with a NYS Class D license.
• CDL B Permit with Passenger and Airbrakes Endorsement required.
• Good driving record with no major moving violations.
• Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

To get started with your driving career today you will need the following:
