Job summary

Glenbrook High School District 225 seeks a Glenbrook Aquatics Head Age Group Coach for the Tenacious group. The coach will collaborate with the Head Coach to refine a shared vision for technique and performance excellence, guiding top age-group athletes in a program that mirrors the district's mission and values.

The role emphasizes developing all aspects of the Age Group and Development Programs and fostering a culture of success both in and out of the water.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of swim coaching experience required.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing high-performance athletes.
  • Previous competitive swimming experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain USA Swimming certifications, including background checks.
  • Ability to obtain Lifeguarding/First Aid & CPR/AED certifications.
  • Experience with TeamUnify and Hy-Tek Meet Manager required.
  • Colorado Timing Systems preferred.

  • Refine and implement a joint vision for technique, training, and performance excellence.
  • Work with top-tier age-group athletes and Glenbrook Aquatics leadership to develop Age Group & Development Programs.

Job description

Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking a Glenbrook Aquatics Head Age Group Coach for Glenbrook Aquatics' Tenacious group.

The Head Age Group Coach will work directly with the Head Coach and Head Age Group Coach to refine and implement a joint vision for technique, training, and performance excellence that complements our team's Mission, Vision, Values, and Outcomes. The individual in this position will be responsible for working with our top-tier age-group athletes and partnering with the Glenbrook Aquatics Head Coach and Head Age Group Coach to develop all aspects of the Age Group and Development Programs, with the goal of instilling a culture of success both in and out of the water.

Education and/or Experience and Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  2. American Swim Coaches Association Level 3 or higher preferred.
  3. 3+ years of swim coaching experience required.
  4. A demonstrated track record of developing high-performance athletes.
  5. Previous competitive swimming experience.
  6. The ability to obtain and maintain all required USA Swimming certifications, including passing an annual background check.
  7. The ability to obtain and maintain Lifeguarding/First Aid & CPR/AED certifications.
  8. Experience with TeamUnify and Hy-Tek Meet Manager required.
  9. Colorado Timing Systems preferred.
