Job summary

i9 Sports offers youth leagues, camps, and clinics for kids aged 3-14 in flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball and baseball. The Soccer Instructor leads athletes on the field, delivers hands-on instruction, and fosters a positive youth sports culture through fun and safety-centered coaching.

The role requires sport-specific coaching experience, excellent communication, and the ability to work weekends (and some evenings) outdoors.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and public speaking.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Motivated self-starter; able to work independently.
• Willing to work weekends and some evenings for the season.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun for all age groups (3-14 years old)
• Set up and Clean up sports fields/equipment
• Saturday & Sunday shifts-outdoors (:8:00 am-2:00 pm)
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values—everyone gets a turn and gets the ball
• Communicate game day information to players and parents on the field
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Job Summary

The Soccer Instructor is a hands-on position that will lead athletes and provide instruction in their designated sport. The Sport Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field.
