Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Soccer Instructor to lead young athletes and provide hands-on coaching in our youth leagues, camps, and clinics. This role centers on delivering the i9 Sports Experience and fostering a positive, inclusive field culture.

You will guide fundamentals, demonstrate sportsmanship, and support players aged 3–14 across weekend sessions, with a strong emphasis on safety, fun, and skill growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills/public speaking.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Highly motivated self-starter; able to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun for ages 3–14.
• Set up and clean up sports fields/equipment.
• Saturday & Sunday shifts outdoors, 8:00 am–2:00 pm.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
• Communicate game day information to players and parents on the field.
• Maintain a positive attitude and superior customer service.

Job Summary

The Soccer Instructor is a hands-on position that will lead athletes and provide instruction in their designated sport. The Sport Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun for all age groups (3-14 years old)
• Set up and Clean up sports fields/equipment
• Saturday & Sunday shifts-outdoors (:8:00 am-2:00 pm)
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values-everyone gets a turn and gets the ball
• Communicate game day information to players and parents on the field
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills/public speaking
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently and collaborate with team members
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, :6 weeks)
• Must have reliable transportation
