Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation is seeking a Soccer Instructor to lead athletes and provide hands-on instruction in their designated sport. The role focuses on delivering the i9 Sports experience and fostering a positive youth sports culture on the field.

The Soccer Instructor will teach fundamentals, supervise practice sessions for ages 3–14, arrange equipment, and ensure a fun, sportsmanlike environment. Weekend outdoor shifts are expected during the season.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication/public speaking skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
• Flexible weekend/evening schedule for full season (~7 weeks).
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun for ages 3–14.
• Set up and clean up sports fields/equipment.
• Saturday & Sunday shifts outdoors (8:00 am–2:00 pm).
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values (everyone gets a turn and gets the ball).
• Communicate game day information to players and parents on the field.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent customer service.

Job Summary

The Soccer Instructor is a hands-on position that will lead athletes and provide instruction in their designated sport. The Sport Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun for all age groups (3-14 years old)
• Set up and Clean up sports fields/equipment
• Saturday & Sunday shifts-outdoors (~8:00 am-2:00 pm)
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values-everyone gets a turn and gets the ball
• Communicate game day information to players and parents on the field
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills/public speaking
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently and collaborate with team members
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
• Must have reliable transportation
