Job summary

SPS Corporation is seeking a Glazing Mechanic to install exterior and interior glass systems, aluminum framing, doors, and hardware across commercial projects. You will read blueprints, interpret shop drawings, and execute precise layouts on-site while maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship.

The role requires hands-on glazing experience, the ability to work independently or in a team, and willingness to travel to various job sites.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Experience installing exterior & interior glass, aluminum framing, doors, and hardware.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to PPE requirements.
• Capable of working independently and with a crew.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install exterior & interior glass panels and aluminum framing per specs.
• Read blueprints and shop drawings to determine layout and procedures.
• Transport materials/equipment to on-site locations.
• Take precise field measurements and verify conditions.
• Ensure water-tight, structurally sound installations.
