Job summary

SPS Corporation in Apex, NC seeks a Lead Foreman to oversee glazing installations, repairs, and related work at diverse job sites. You will coordinate with project managers, mentor crew, and ensure safety and quality for on-time completion.

You will read blueprints, supervise helpers and mechanics, manage tool inventory, and enforce PPE and safety protocols. This role requires 5–8 years in glazing, strong leadership, and willingness to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in glazing or related construction trade.
• Proficient in glass handling and installation of curtain walls, storefronts, and doors.
• Ability to read construction documents and layout drawings.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate and guide a team.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace glass and related hardware on varied substrates.
• Mentor and guide Helpers and Mechanics in installation techniques and safety practices.
• Read blueprints and work orders to determine layout; verify field conditions before installation.
