Job summary

Unknown is seeking a seasoned Project Executive to lead the glass division in Baltimore. You will oversee multiple commercial glazing projects, drive financial and operational performance, and support Project Managers from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of glazing/building envelope experience, strong leadership, and a track record of maintaining client relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, and vendors. This role is on-site in Baltimore.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or building envelope construction.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple glazing projects.
• Senior Project Manager / Project Executive or similar senior construction role.
• Strong knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, entrances, windows, and architectural glass.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level oversight across multiple commercial glazing projects.
• Manage project performance from contract award through completion and closeout.
• Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers and project teams.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, change orders, and financial performance.
• Monitor project profitability, forecasting, cost control, and overall project health.
• Develop and maintain relationships with General Contractors, Owners, Architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Support preconstruction activities including scope review, budgeting, constructability, and project planning.
• Identify project risks and develop solutions to cost, schedule, contractual, and operational challenges.
• Review and negotiate change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
• Work closely with estimating and operations teams to transition from awarded work to execution.
• Ensure projects are appropriately staffed with necessary resources.
• Monitor schedules and address delays before delivery impact.
• Represent the company in key client and project meetings.
• Establish and improve project management processes and best practices.
• Contribute to growth and development of the glass division.

The Opportunity A well-established and growing commercial exterior contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to join its expanding glass division in the Baltimore market. This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced commercial glazing professional who can provide leadership across a portfolio of projects while supporting Project Managers, strengthening client relationships, and driving financial and operational performance. The Project Executive will play a key role in overseeing projects from preconstruction through completion, working closely with project management, estimating, field operations, general contractors, owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level oversight and leadership across multiple commercial glazing projects.


• Manage project performance from contract award through completion and closeout.


• Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers and project teams.


• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, change orders, and financial performance.

Ideal Candidate

• 8+ years of experience within commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, architectural glass, or building envelope construction .


• Proven experience overseeing multiple commercial glazing projects.


• Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Operations Manager, or similar senior-level construction professional .


• Strong technical understanding of commercial glazing systems, including curtain wall, storefront, entrances, windows, and architectural glass.


• Strong understanding of project financials, budgets, contracts, scheduling, procurement, and change management.


• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop project management teams.


• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.


• Experience working directly with General Contractors, Owners, Architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.


• Strong commercial and contractual awareness with the ability to identify and mitigate project risk.


• Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar is preferred.
