Job summary

Arch Street Glass, a Boston-based glazing subcontractor, seeks an estimator to join the estimating team. You will read drawings, perform detailed takeoffs, gather quotes, and prepare bid proposals for multiple projects while coordinating with architects, designers, and general contractors.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and have strong math, MS Office, and communication skills. Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, and D365 CRM familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine project scope.
• Complete detailed takeoffs and gather product quotes.
• Evaluate pricing and prepare estimates and bid proposals for multiple projects.
• Communicate with architects, designers, and general contractors to solve problems with the sales team.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and CRM tools for document management.

Responsibilities
