Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced project management professional to oversee project controls, costs, scheduling, safety, and quality for complex glass and panel projects in the Midwest.

You will review proposals, determine processes, materials, labor, and timeframes, and manage procurement, RFIs, and change orders. A construction PM background with aluminum/glass supplier networks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field required; 3+ years PM experience preferred.
• Experience with aluminum and glass suppliers; strong vendor relationships.
• Good mathematical ability to calculate figures and apply algebra/geometry concepts.
• Proficient with project management, estimating and spreadsheet software; strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project controls including costs, scheduling, safety, quality, efficiencies, and documentation.
• Review project proposals to determine needed processes, materials, labor, and time frames.
• Complete material takeoffs and peer review takeoffs for quality control.
• Evaluate vendors, obtain quotes for materials, review costs/value, and direct Purchasing on procurement.
• Understand contract specifics, prepare submittals, and track approval; manage RFIs and change orders.
