Job summary

American Glass is seeking a skilled Glazier to measure, prepare, install, repair, and replace glass, frames, hardware, and related components for residential and/or commercial projects in Springfield, MO. You will contribute to safe, quality work and support customers and teammates.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of glazing experience, can lift 75 pounds, and are comfortable working at heights. A valid license and pass drug screening plus background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years glazing experience in residential/commercial settings.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install glass for windows, doors, storefronts, and other residential and/or commercial projects.
• Install frames, hardware, and related components with precision and care.
• Inspect existing glass installations and recommend repair or replacement options.
• Use drills, saws, grinders, and sanders to cut and prepare materials.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized after each installation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members regarding project needs and concerns.
