Qualifications

• High school diploma required; COA certification a plus or willingness to pursue.
• Strong communication and patient interaction abilities.
• Ability to learn computer systems used for patient records.

Responsibilities

• Perform glaucoma-specific diagnostic tests and patient assessments.
• Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative glaucoma care.
• Prepare patients and operating room for glaucoma surgeries.
• Educate patients on medications, procedures, and post-op care.
• Maintain sterile field and document in the EHR accurately.
• Coordinate patient flow and support surgical teams during visits.
