Job summary

Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is seeking a Fellowship-Trained Glaucoma Specialist to join the Ophthalmology Department at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. The role includes diagnostic evaluation, medical and surgical management of glaucoma, and opportunities for teaching and research.

Candidate must have Ophthalmology residency with a Glaucoma fellowship; board certification or eligibility; PA licensure in good standing.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist with board-eligible or board-certified status.
• Experience in patient care and teaching within a tertiary ophthalmology setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized ophthalmologic care for glaucoma, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical interventions.
• Assess glaucoma progression using visual fields, imaging, and tonometry; manage treatment plans.
