The American Academy of Ophthalmology in South Florida is seeking a Board-Certified/ Fellow­ship-Trained Glaucoma Ophthalmologist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide expert medical and surgical management of glaucoma patients, including complex and refractory cases, in collaboration with our cornea, retina, and oculoplastics colleagues.

The ideal candidate has a glaucoma fellowship, is board-certified or eligible, and possesses excellent communication skills to support a

Formación

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an Ophthalmology residency.
• Completion of an accredited Glaucoma Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABO.
• Active or eligible for Florida medical license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical and surgical glaucoma management for varied cases.
• Perform glaucoma surgeries (trabeculectomy, tube shunt, MIGS).
• Collaborate with cornea, retina, and oculoplastics colleagues on complex cases.
• Co-manage with referring optometrists and physicians.
• Maintain accurate medical records per standards.
• Contribute to team-based clinical environment.
