Cincinnati Eye Institute in Edgewood, KY is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists by preparing patients for exams and performing essential diagnostic tests. You will handle initial testing, document findings in the EMR, and help maintain efficient patient flow in a busy clinic.

This full-time role requires flexibility for scheduling, travel to other offices in Cincinnati as needed, and a strong commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient care.

Qualifications

• Commit to a schedule that may include weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient service in person or by phone.
• Greet patients, document visits, and assist during exams.
• Assist physician and facilitate clinic flow during testing.
• Record vital signs and medical history; verify information.
• Perform tests (dilation, refraction, pressures, visual fields, OCT, etc.).
• Enter data into EMR and maintain room cleanliness and stock.
