Job summary

BD is seeking a Forming Setup Operator to monitor and run two glass syringe forming machines on a 5:30am–5:30pm shift. You will ensure quality, perform inspections, and maintain equipment while following BD safety rules. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

The role requires up to date documentation of inspections and a collaborative approach to continuous process improvement within our manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED preferred; five years manufacturing experience can substitute HS.
• Minimum five years manufacturing experience; two years mechanical/technical experience.
• Experience using measurement devices and maintaining quality records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain two glass syringe forming machines.
• Operate inspection & testing equipment and address defects per QC specs.
• Maintain equipment per preventative maintenance schedule.
• Record accurate inspection data and contribute to process improvements.
• Provide coaching and on-the-job training to peers when signed off.
• Support additional duties as needed to meet business needs.
