Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a dependable production associate to join our in-person team in Rocky Mount, VA. You will read blueprints, use a saw, measure with a tape, enter data, and support quality checks on fast-paced production lines.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work overtime, and good teamwork. Training on machines and safety protocols is provided, with opportunities for cross-training and career growth.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safety and quality conscious
• Good attendance –willing and able to work overtime (short time could also occur)
• Willing to operate a saw or be trained on a saw
• Simple arithmetic skills/able to read a ruler
• Able to read and understand a schedule/enter data into computer for cutter.
• Strong attention to detail
• Work well with others as part of a team
• Work well with others as part of a team
• Read a tape measure
• Knowledge on machines and able to setup programming
• Handle, material and oversee quality checks
• Good organization and communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Reading and understanding blueprints and work orders to be processed.
• fast-paced work/able to do multiple tasks
• Good problem-solving skills
• Willing and able to cross-train and fill in for leads in other areas as necessary
