Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Repair Specialist to learn vehicle glass repair techniques and support customer service. The role includes classroom and hands-on training, focusing on the Safelite Way of Fitting under guidance from experienced technicians, and repairing chips or cracks on customer vehicles.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, SafeTech certification, and the ability to operate a Safelite van.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• On-the-job Safelite SafeTech certification completed.
• Ability to operate a Safelite van and maintain a safe driving record.
• Flexibility with hours and days worked.
• Professional appearance and PPE required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with heavier items.

Responsibilities

• Learn vehicle glass repair in classroom and hands-on setting with Safelite guidance.
• Repair chips, cracks and related issues on customer vehicles.
• Manage work orders, documentation and customer communication via MRM technology.
• Clean vehicles during downtime and perform housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Safely operate company van to and from customer locations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
