Allegion in Perrysburg, OH, is seeking a Glass Processor to join the Technical Glass Products team. This full-time, hourly non-exempt role covers glass cutting, grinding, laminating, and insulated glass unit fabrication in a production setting.

You will safely handle glass, document operations, monitor quality, and maintain equipment while meeting production schedules and safety standards.

Qualificações

• Prior manufacturing experience.

• Prior CNC machine operation experience preferred.
• Provide high quality internal customer service.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow cut list dimensions and read a tape measure.

Responsabilidades

• Cut, pack, transfer and safely handle glass product without damaging the product.
• Fabricate (edging, drill, prepare, construct, laminate, etch) glass and insulated glass product.
• Documents the operations performed.
• Inspects completed operations for quality, accuracy and quantity.
• Maintains all machines as recommended by the manufacturer and as directed.
• Monitors machine operations as parts are processed, to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Allocate material used to the proper pick-list.
• Locate & position material as required from the storage racks to the appropriate processing area.
• Prioritize and schedule operations to ensure on-time delivery per requirements.
• Apply quality standards as required for each product type.
• Cut all wood and paper products as required for packing.
• Use manual and power tools.

Glass Processor – Technical Glass Products – Perrysburg, OH Allegion is seeking a Glass Processor to fulfill a full‑time position in Perrysburg, OH, at our Technical Glass Products facility. The Glass Processor is responsible for all glass processing operations.

Duties include, but not limited to, glass cutting, glass grinding and sanding, preparing and constructing insulated glass units and laminating products in glass production area.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week required, with opportunity for overtime as needed.

What You Will Do:

Physical Demands:

• Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle parts and tools with precision.
• Repetitive Motion: Perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands.
• Standing Duration: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
• Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Lift Assist Devices: Use of overhead crane and forklift with training may be required.
• Environmental Exposure: Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Respirator, fall protection, welding hood, etc. may be required depending on job duty and/or work area.
