Job summary

Cardinal Glass Industries, Inc. in Mount Airy, NC is seeking a Glass Packing Technician for a full-time role. You will manually lift up to 50 lbs and pack glass items while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will pack about 250 pieces per hour, tag products, inspect for defects, and follow 5S procedures. The shift runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with expectations of teamwork and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Manually lift up to 50 lbs of raw material, finished products, and/or pack items repetitively in a fast paced environment.
• Pack 250 pieces of glass per hour.
• Mark or tag identification on glass products.
• Inspect glass for visual and/or material defects as well as quality specification tolerances.
• Follow 5S procedures to maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work environment.
• Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
• Communicate pertinent information to co-workers, supervisors, & management.
• Complete all other tasks as required.
• Respect for each co-worker.
• Regular Attendance as outlined in attendance policy.
• Ability to work in a team environment and use good judgment.

Cardinal CT Mount Airy has a full time opening for a Glass Packing Technician.
