Job summary

Portland Glass is seeking an experienced glass installer to join our team in a hands-on, customer-focused role. You will install and replace residential and commercial glass, read blueprints, measure precisely, and use hand and power tools to ensure quality results at each site.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and other technology.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Complete background check and drug screen in accordance with company guidelines.
• Highschool Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Installing and replacing residential and/or commercial glass.
• Measuring, cutting, handling, and installing glass and related materials.
• Reading work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Using hand and power tools to complete quality installations.
• Diagnosing installation challenges and finding practical solutions.

• Keeping your work area, tools, and company vehicle clean and organized.
• Following company safety procedures and industry best practices.

Competitive pay: Compensation is based on experience and skill level.
