Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an Assembler II - Doors in Colonial Heights, VA to join our production team. You will assemble glass doors, frames, and subcomponents, following work orders and standard operating procedures to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.

You will use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools, maintain a clean work area, and report any defects. Strong reading, math, and measurement skills are required, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of production assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions/decimals.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into sub-assemblies per work orders and SOPs.
• Operate hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Maintain production quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Follow SOPs and supervisor instructions.
• Cross-train team members and assist with production as needed.
• Perform a variety of assembly duties with minimal supervision.
